Bird dogs are testament to the marriage of art and science. Pointers and setters each have their own style but both know what they were put on this earth to do. With innate knowledge they hunt, point, honor and if you are lucky will retrieve the birds you ask them to find. I have sculpted the pointer in a classic pose where she has stopped on a dime to point the bird none of us can yet see. What captivates me about pointers is their
athleticism. There is not one ounce of fat on this dog and every muscle is defined and working.
