Carousel Rabbit

JUMPIN' JACK

Black tailed jack rabbits are keenly adapted to their desert surroundings. They can hop up to 20 ft. at a time, travelling 35 mph, while jumping every 4th or 5th stride to better view their predators. With ears which seem disproportionate to its body, this herbivore was orginally called the "jack ass" rabbit. Their magic comes when they transform into lithe and graceful dancing machines when their lives literally depend upon it.
